"The Serpent Egg" or Ormägg was among several stones utilized in Nordic Folk Magic for many centuries. Although we now know it to be a fossil from a very different species, it was believed these stones were the magical egg from the king of the serpents and a very powerful tool.
 
It would have been used for court proceedings, to win favor, some believed it could cure disease, to protect against spirits, ward off the evil eye, and many more. 
 
Each single Ormägg comes with a card including a traditional story of the Serpent Egg and a litany of traditional uses.
