This ink is handmade in Dorset using natural ingredients to a medieval recipe with a modern twist.
 
Iron Gall ink is the perfect black ink for modern calligraphy. Traditionally Iron Gall ink erodes nibs quickly due to it's high acidity, our ink has powdered egg shell added to balance the Ph, meaning nibs last much longer. This ink has been designed for use with a dip pen.
